Monthly Meetings
M onthly meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of each month, except during ths summer months of July and August. Members and Guests are welcome. Location is Bauer Center on the campus of Claremont McKenna college. There is free parking in the student lots just to the east of the Bauer Auditorium. Starting time is 7:00PM sharp and meeting duration is about 1 1/2 hour. The program usually consists of a short bird identification quiz, light refreshments, announcements and a guest speaker on some aspect of birding and conservation

| Membership: There are two options for membership |
| 1. PVAS only membership: Includes attendance at all PVAS events and a copy of PVAS semi-monthly newsletter, the Chaparral Naturalist. Cost is $20 per year. | 2. National Audubon Membership: includes membership in National Audubon, the monthly magazine, Audubon, and also the PVAS membership listed in #1. Cost is $20 for first year and then about $35 a year after this. To chose this option, please follow this link to National Audubon |
