Bauer Forum-Monthly Meeting Site
| Monthly meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month, except there are no meeting during the summer months of July and August. Members and non-members are welcome. |
| Location: Bauer Auditorium is located on the campus of Claremont McKenna College. The Claremont Colleges are located in Claremont about 2 miles north of the 10 Freeway. Get off the 10 at Indian Hill-go North about 2 miles to 12 St. (one block south of Foothill), turn East and follow 12th about one mile east.At the end of 12th veer to the right and proceed south down to the end, the briefly turn left. Another trickier approach is to get off the 210 at Monte Vista. Follow the Claremont sign. Go south on Monte Vista about 1/2 mile and veer right at Claremont Blvd(traffic light). Follow Claremont Blvd past Foothill and turn right(west) on 9th St. Parking is on 9th St to the left. There is free lighted parking and handicapped parking. Don't worry about the exit gates, they will open automatically on approach. |
| Meetings begin promptly at 7:00 PM with a brief bird identification quiz. This is followed by light refreshments, a biref business meeting, and a guest speaker, who will usually talk about some aspect of birding and conservation.
